Chief Executive Officer - Gail Kantor
GAIL KANTOR has had a wide-ranging and accomplished career in the entertainment industry as an artist, songwriter and producer. As a songwriter, Gail has collaborated with longtime friend Barry Manilow, hit songwriter Barry Goldberg and, most recently, Grammy and Emmy-winning composer Patrick Williams. She's sung background for artists as diverse as James Brown and James Taylor, but she's probably best known for having been one of the original Harlettes, Bette Midler's signature background trio. Gail's studio singing work includes commercials that became advertising standards for Pepsi, Budweiser, Ford, McDonalds and many, many more. She segued from singing to producing by creating The Kantor Company, a successful jingle house that turned out numerous national commercials for a variety of clients. Gail was presented with a unique career-changing opportunity Executive Producing her first fundraising concert event, the highly praised 1st Evening in June. Its rewards, both artistic and personal led to the formation of Kantor Productions. She proceeded to Executive Produce and Direct a series of 26 concert events that raised millions of dollars for worthy causes, from the star-studded Gaultier fashion show featuring Madonna with performances by Luther Vandross and Patti LaBelle to an all-star tribute to Andrew Lloyd Webber for the Los Angeles County Music Center, often managing teams of up to 150 people. In addition, Gail produced Latin Nights, an ABC television special featuring Gloria Estefan, Santana and Ricky Martin, among others. She has produced events with some of the biggest names in pop, Broadway, jazz, rock and rap. Just prior to co-founding eJamming, Inc. with Alan Glueckman, Gail traveled throughout Europe recording star talent in over twenty languages for the DreamWorks films, The Prince of Egypt and The Road to El Dorado.
Chairman/President - Alan Jay Glueckman
ALAN JAY GLUECKMAN's 25-year career in show business as Screenwriter, Lyricist, Producer and Director has spanned movies, television, theater and the Internet. As CEO of Glueckman Intertainment, he had eight movies produced including Russkies, Gross Anatomy and The Fear Inside and has written for Disney, Universal, Warner Brothers, Paramount, Viacom, New Century, NBC, CBS and ABC. In 2001, he created Scoring, an interactive television show he Executive Produced for MTV. In 1996, Alan became one of the Internet Content Pioneers when he co-created, wrote and designed the Site Architecture for the groundbreaking Mission: Impossible The Web Adventure for Apple Computer Co., which garnered 36 million hits its first six weeks on the web. He also developed the innovative paranoid thriller You've Gotta Believe Me for the Microsoft Network and Created and Executive Produced Disco-Rama, a 70s Music and Culture Retrospective for Bill Gross' EntertainNet, the first ideaLab! start-up. As a lyricist, Alan wrote 30 songs for the hit musical revue Starr Struck: A Musical Investigation, co-wrote the book and wrote the lyrics for Stalag 17 - The Musical which will be produced by Broadway legend Leonard Soloway, and wrote the book and lyrics for the original musical Friday Saturday Sunday, which had a successful World Premiere showcase and run at Lynn University in Boca Raton in 2005. Prior to his career in Hollywood, Alan worked in Product Management at General Foods and was an advertising copywriter/producer, rising to Creative Director at Ted Bates (Hellas). He holds an MBA in Marketing from Columbia University and a BA in Economics from the University of Michigan. He has focused all of his business and creative efforts on eJamming since 2002.
Chief Technologist - Bill Redmann
WILLIAM G. REDMANN has a long creative history in the world of technology and entertainment. Most recently, Bill served as Director of Technology for Disney Regional Entertainment, overseeing the execution of detailed designs with the in-house engineering organization and outside developers. Prior to that, he was Director of Technology for Virtual World Entertainment, where he directed a team of twenty programmers and electrical engineers in the creation of the high-end simulator hardware and software that resulted in the first network-connected multi-player game. The success of his work for Virtual World resulted in its acquisition by Microsoft as an in-house gaming technology and creative resource. He also spent six years at Walt Disney Imagineering, researching and developing new ride technologies (he holds three patents on the ground-breaking Indiana Jones Adventure alone). Bill's long track record of technological success is testimony to his skills working equally well with artists, technicians and engineers, as well as to his effective communication with senior management.
Lead Programmer - Ben Dyer MSc
BEN DYER's 20-year career in engineering spans both hardware and software design, encapsulating the unique disciplines of video, multimedia and music production. He's been involved in the design of broadcast video equipment including the first High Definition products in the 80s, audio products for recording studios including samplers and sequencers in the 90s, and later, in programming software instruments and plug-ins. Having spent the majority of his career as an independent consultant, his entrepreneurial instincts led him to the role of company director on three separate occasions. A keen musician, songwriter and performer, he has a passion for music and technology. He gained a Masters Degree in Digital Systems from Brunel University in the UK, and when he's not glued to his Mac, you can find him filling his spare time with walking, photography, music or online gaming.
Product Manager/Music Technologist - Chris Short
CHRIS SHORT has been a recording engineer since he hand-built his first recording studio at age 16. He’s also a kick-ass guitarist and bassist. Chris’ wide-ranging knowledge of recording hardware and software gives him a unique perspective to manage our product development and in-house software testing program in the United States.
Communications - Barbara Hagin, Breakaway Communications
BARBARA HAGIN is a 19-year veteran of public relations, marketing and journalism, providing strategic counsel and hands-on PR support to technology companies. Barbara has developed and managed the implementation of PR programs and campaigns for companies ranging from IBM (servers, software, storage and research) to Sony (computer products) and Intel (branding initiative). Barbara led the team that repositioned Borland (to the industry and Wall Street) as a re-invigorated and successful enterprise software solutions provider.
