Hello JAMMERS! I've been a webcaster since 2003 and have achieved a modicum of success in both the progressive bluegrass/newgrass & prog rock communities as both a music webcaster and music interviewer. However, the future of internet radio is pretty cloudy at this point. Does anybody here at eJamming have any thoughts/views on this issue/situation?
Best,
Steve

The powers that be can control most radio programs and the news they are reporting their agenda in a positive light, because so many other I-radio stations are popping up, they are going to try and shut them all down....Bottom line, it is all about control and what information can be relayed back to the public. We are not living in a democratic society but the illusion that we are, is there.

I don't think the vision should be cloudy at all. We have XM and Sirius monopolizing the satellite industry. Once they officially merge they will have to branch out and eventually anyone will have the capabilities to hold the name of these major comapanies. Just like Sprint and Nextel. Now they have Metropcs and Boost. I know working in the field that they have to make regulations and the sky is definitely the limit.....It's all global and the potential is absolutely uncapped.
