Hey Man
Vista Seems to be Extremely Hit and miss.
We've had people with no problems with Vista, and then cases like yours where nothing will work right.
Its a very weird thing, obviously XP is alot more reliable, we don't know why. Thank you for your input tho, i will forward the crash data to the programmers and hopefully we can work it out.
Stay tuned for more Vista Info.

Our programming team has researched this problem and there are installation issues Microsoft is aware of, but they are issuing contradictory advice. Our programming team recommends the following:
We suggest that users who are having a problem should install this Microsoft Redistributable Package :
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=32bc1bee- a3f9-4c13-9c99-220b62a191ee&displaylang=en
The Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable Package (x86) installs runtime components of Visual C++ Libraries required to run applications developed with Visual C++
Hopefully that will solve your problem.
Please let us know.

I've tried to install twice on Vista. Get the message:
application failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect
The event log shows:
Activation context generation failed for "C:\Program Files\eJamming\eJammingAUDiiO\eJammingAUDiiO.exe".Error in manifest or policy file "" on line . A component version required by the application conflicts with another component version already active. Conflicting components are:. Component 1: C:\Windows\WinSxS\manifests\ x86_microsoft.vc80.crt_1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b_8.0.50727.312_none_10b2ee7b9bffc2c7.manifest. Component 2: C:\Program Files\eJamming\eJammingAUDiiO\Microsoft.VC80.CRT.MANIFEST.
It's a brand new machine so I don't know what the conflicting component could be. FYI, i just learned there's no longer an i386 folder in Windows on Vista, could be the cause.
Any thoughts? Vista sucks, go back to XP?
thanks for any input
