Hi, I just started using eJamming today and it's pretty cool. I'm more interested in the "studio" aspect of it so I can share tracks with my buddies and they can add their own tracks to at some point build a complete song.
Is there a way to use the software to "check a track in" for a group of people so they can grab it and update it with their own track and resubmit it so I can check it out?
I see there's a Send Song option, however since I don't have any friends using this yet, I"m not sure if it's what I'm talking about here....
In essence, I'd like a place to check in different versions of different songs for the rest of my bandmates to pick up and play with at their leisure.
Can someone help?!
Thanks!

Hey Man Glad you dig the studio side. I think this calls for a little explanation The send song feature is, as you said, to send the track you're working on in high fidelity to the other player(s) in your session. its also used to send them files that you load up and they dont have, for instance, if you want to work with your guy on a guitar track and you already have the drums, you can load up a mono mix on the drums into the track with the "Load Track Audio" command, which is under the little disclosure arrow at the far right of the audio track, and then hit "Send Song" and eJamming will send the file to the other guy in your session.

Part 2 because apparently i cant post more than 1024 characters! GAH!
What you're talking about doing is most commonly done using FTP, or file transfer protocol over the interweb, but you literally have to upload the files to a remote server, and post your tracks that way, but in all honesty, its ALOT easier if you just get your friends on eJamming and just send them the tracks that way, the whole idea is no waiting, and you can give them feedback in real time to try to make what they're doing rock more. hope that helps!
