WAN Optimization - New Linksys Router

I am a network engineer by day. Large networks have WAN optimization devices that reduce latency dramatically (www.riverbed.com). I have just began to look into improving my e-jamming experience and wanted to start this discussion on how to reduce latency further. Linksys just announced a router (#WRT330N) that, "is ideal for media-centric applications like gaming, streaming video, and Voice over IP telephony, and gives you plenty of headroom to run multiple media-intense data streams through the network at the same time, with no degradation in performance. "

It has every element that we use in large networks except caching. I still need to buy one and check it out. However, this will help with poor upload speeds as well. Most home routers have a VoIP or QoS config area now. Correctly configuring these services can dramatically reduce latency.
