I am using a Westell 6100 router thru an ethernet hub and am on OS X. I have followed all instructions to go into the Westell modem, created a "forwarding service" for port 26900, selected and activated that service. I have also activated UPnP on the router, and I've got "run UpnP port setup automatically on startup" checked. Restarting the software doesn't help. Restarting the computer neither. Port forwarding sll seems t be configured properly. Can anybody help me?

I take it youre getting the "Port Test Failed" error?

this is not necessarily the end of the world however, have you looked into PortForward.com for more specific instructions on that particular router?

Anti virus services can also cause that error.

Same thing here. Thought I had fixed it: configured port 26900 forwarding for both UDP and TCP on my Zoom X6 DSL modem / router (followed instructions at PortForward.com), and the port test failure message stopped happening at login. But then in a session, my track shows up with the port labeled "Closed". Then I go to the Connection Doctor and try the port test and it fails. What am I doing wrong?

It could be the router, but if its passing and then failing i would check out any anti-virus or firewall software and name eJamming as an exception in those. also re checking and making sure the router is still forwarded would be a good "just in case" check.
