I`m being disconnected with the message: "The Session Leader Snowraven has unexpectedly left the Session. You will be removed from the Session" But Snowraven is still in the session on his computer. I try to reconnect but I get the message, You can´t connect because of two players behind the same firewall. How do we solve this problem?

Hi Willse, are both of your port 26900's open? that would be the first thing to check. there are a few different FAQ's about ports in the support section of this website.

Also, i would run a speedtest from speedtest.net and make sure both of you guys have the right upload and download speeds to run eJamming, also make sure there are no other programs or computers on the network using large amounts of internet bandwidth.

Let me know if any of this helps!

Take Care

Well, both or our ports is open, but in our session, mine was open and the other was closed. We both have an 100Mbit connection and live 300 meters from eachother. So, it must be that one of us had some other program running, that used internet... Our auto sync was 26 ms, but we could manually set our latency to 10 ms without any crackle, pops during the short time our connection last.

well the problem with setting the latency so low, 10 mS that is caused part of your problems. the next time you two connect i would use the auto sync for a while and see if that causes problems before you start lowering the sync. Let me know how this works for you guys

I hooked up my other laptop in my studio, and all problems where gone. I guess that my router was the problem. 10 ms worked just fine. But I must say that I must have instructions in how to play with the delay. I´m to depended to "feel" when I´m playing. I can`t just play along with the sound in my headphones when I "feel" the hit on the strings or drum not sync. How can I work around this? And we are talking 10 ms, how do U folks out there play along with 25 ms or more?

i had to practice with the MIDI drum tracks for a while, but it eventually worked fine. you just kind of feel the track and your playing moves with the latency....

I dont know if theres a magic button or anything but i guess i just got used to it after a little bit.

Good luck!

Chris
