Hey What exactly was the problem you were having with asio? did you mean it was having a problem with ASIO4ALL?
If you could give me a little more information i can make some better recommendations.
THANKS!
Chris

Yes. The problem is ASIO4ALL. Sound goes just one way. People can hear me, but I cant hear then and my instrument thru the program as well. Im also trying to ryn a virtual instrument program which doesnt work again.

Yes, ejamming cannot host a virtual instrument. the only way to make that work is with two separate sound cards.
Have you restarted your computer since you installed ASIO4LL? or tried running eJamming without the virtual instrument running?
Thanks!

Basically Im trying to run eJamming without the virtual instrument but it doesnt work. Restarting doesnt help. In fact once it worked, after I reinstalled asio4all, but never again... I guess those are some Vista ussues.
Anyway, do you think an usb interface like those two ( http://www.emu.com/products/product.asp?category=610&subcategory=611&product=15186 http://www.emu.com/products/product.asp?category=610&subcategory=611&product=15185 ) should help?
Thanks!

Hey Yes ANY audio interface that is ASIO compliant will work. so if those interfaces are ASIO interfaces you should have no problems. i'm a big fan of the Behringer UCA202 actually. Its Kind of the same deal except cheaper.
Good luck man!

I have had nothing but problems with soundcards under vista. Same P.C. same Hardware 2 soundcards 1 creative E-MU 0404 and 1 soundblaster live! Under XP both soundcards work spectacularly under vista i get the random blue creen of death. Vista also tries to report my E-MU soundcard as a soundblaster audigy which im sure is causing great whoes upon the Operating System. and 1 final not on my particular vista soundcard issues is that under vista my soundblaster Live! sounds all scratchy like is clipping or its having a buffering problem. I formattedmy system back to XP and all worked as normal.

Hey there, not sure where everyone is with troubleshooting, I was having the same problem, everything seemed right but no actual SOUND or recording levels showing. Once I realized everything was working on my end and the software seemed to be installed correctly and was working (I'm running Vista and so installed the ASIO driver) - I uninstalled both and re-installed both - 1st ASIO, and 2nd eJam software. It all works now and it's a blast! I am in Nevada, USA and the guitarist was in Brazil... DEB
