Hi there, I just downloaded EJ this morning, but I'm having trouble understanding what exactly I need to record audio. I'm running a computer with the sound card creative x-fi xtreme audio and vista 32bit. I'm trying to record an E. gtr, and I'm guessing I need a microphone to do that? What sort of mic would I have to purchase? Sorry if the question seems obvious, I'm very bad with computers.

Oh and to add more notes, I downloaded and installed ASIO4ALL. I tried to use my windows lifecam mic, but it didn't work. IN ASIO4ALL the SB X-Fi Xtreme Audio is green with 1 INS and 1 OUTS at 2x 44.1-96khz, 24 bits and and another out at 8x 44.1-96khz, 24bits. The lifecam is 1x 8-16khz, 16bits

Hey Dingo, The reason your LifeCam wont see eJamming is because, I think, of the sample rate, eJamming needs a 48k or 44.1k sample rate to do its business. ASIO4ALL is tricks in the best of circumstances but many people have gotten it to work, for your electric guitar, if you have a decent effects processor, you might be able to get away with plugging the guitar right into the card itself, or, as you said a microphone would do the job also. Hope this helps!
