Hi I'm looking for the right way to connect and am trying to use my Digitech GNX4 as it is hooked up to my computer via usb. I cannot however change the default sampling rate from 44100 to 48100. It won't let me? If I can't use my Digitech does this mean I'll have to buy something else to connect? What do most folks here connect with. Where will I get my awesome sound effects that are in my Digitech? Thanks for the help Can't wait to get this going : ) Thanks Dino

Dino - sampling rate is 48000, not 48100 - will it accept 48000?

I think theres an internal utility setting on the GNX4 that will change it. i have the genesis and there is on that one, you have to push to buttons at once or something silly like that
ill see if i can dig up the manual
good luck!

Hangs on,
Ok According the the manual the GNX4 only supports 44.1 sample rates.
WHICH MEANS that you can still connect the system ANALOG into a sound card, or you might be able to use ASIO4ALL to convert the sample rate. I would try using asio4all first before we totally give up on it.
otherwise, analog is the way to go.
if you need more info post back or email techsupport@ejamming.com attn Chris
thanks guys!

I have tried to use ASIO4ALL to connect my GNX4 to eJamming, but I get the "Invalid sample rate" error. I tied also connecting it to my M-AUDIO Firewire Solo by using the output from the GNX4 but it doesn't work neither, since when the GNX4 is connected the sample rate is locked to 44100. Any ideas? I would not like to use a microphone to directly input the sound into the M-AUDIO card.
Is it impossible to have 44100 support?

Hey MoRLoP
if you have a firewire solo, i would connect the analog outputs of the GNX4 directly into the analog inputs of the firewire solo, you dont really NEED to use the USB. If you run analog there shouldn't be any samplerate issues. We used 48k sample rates because of compatibility with a wider range of sound cards. Can you just plug a 1/4 inch cable from the output of the GNX4 to the input of the FW solo? thats how i have mine hooked up.
