Mixer suggestion

Hi all-

I just setup eJ tonight and looking forward to having fun!

I'm going to need a mixer to get audio in at the same time as guitar. Any suggestions on a decent inexpensive analog mixer? Looking at the Behringer & Peavey so far. Sound card (for now) is an SB Live.

Any suggestions welcomed...

Thanks eK

Hey Man

Wed definitely recommend the Behringer UB series mixers for bang for the buck practicality, you should be able to get one for under 50 bucks that will work for you just fine. Just make sure you have the right cables to to run into your sound card.

Let us know how it goes!

I have the MultiMix 8 and 16 Firewire mixers. I did not hookup the Firewire because I have the Delta 1010 LT sound card. I use 5/6 channels for the 16ch mixer and 3/4 channels for the 8ch mixer. I have 10 PC Neil Pert setup fully mic to the 16 ch mixer. I use the 8 ch mixer for keyboards, drum machine, guitars and vocals. So far the beta 10 is working with these 2 mixers. I only run one mixer at a time. You have to turn the mixer effects off so to not have echoe. I have Cubase SX 3 and Pro Tools 7.3 and a server that I have some musicians friends that sends me tracks to work on. I hope to help anyone with studio stuff. Chris has helped me setup my ejamming and I want to thank him. Enjoy and see you online

Hi guys, thanks for the input. Gonna get a UB or Xenyx & get the 57 & 58 up & running. I recently switched from GTP3 to Cubase3, love THAT change!

Anxious to get eJammin' ;)
