great idea and good luck. If you check youtube, you will find a lot of stuff...

It is not the same as a teacher, but some great players are great teachers too like Tommy Emmanuel.

Hi jakels,

If you're still interested mail me to pady (at) pady (dot) net We could arrange something via eJamming or Skype. I do have a website too, but it's in German: www.pady.net

Cheers, Patrick

Hi Pady,

may I suggest to add some audible or even visuable example of your teaching?

Maybe I just couldn't find it on your site...

Hi Divakar,

Fair suggestion. I am going put up some trial videos plus tutorials and other stuff (also in English). This is going to take a while though. I'll let you guys know when I'm ready.

Cheers, Pady

Hey Jakels,

I'm a professional guitarist with theory, composition and sight-reading training. I too was a blues-based guitarist up until about 6 years ago when I started getting into jazz. Its amazing how learning a few modes, scales and voicings can make your playing sound great. Not only can I play jazz with big bands and small combos but my blues playing has taken on a whole new meaning by playing through the changes and implying chords. I'd be happy to show you some stuff over eJamming or in person (if you're close to Los Angeles).

Anyway, check out my website at www.andyalt.com

Peace and hairgrease.

Andy
