NEW FEATURES
 
The most significant new feature now displays the result of each eJammer’s Port Test right on their seat (and you can check the Port Test status for each session when you click its listing in the Lobby). 
 
This way, you’ll know whether Port 26900 is OPEN or CLOSED for that player, which will help you if you’re having problems connecting to a session. When Port 26900 is OPEN, you should be able to connect together with no problem. Even if it is closed, you can still NAT negotiate and connect, but that isn’t always certain.
 
The other improvement when connecting to a session happens behind the scenes: if one player in a session has a CLOSED port, that will no longer block you from joining that session as long as your Port 26900 is OPEN.
 
IMPROVEMENTS
 
Other improvements include:

We automatically open the WAVEFORM display on each seat when the session is created.

We’ve increased the RANGE of the AUDIO LEVEL sliders to give you more control at lower levels and we’ve increased the gain on audio inputs.

We improved the RECORD timing in Overdub Mode for both audio and MIDI

We improved SEND SONG by creating a temporary file during the Send Song process so the original audio file is not overwritten until the new file been successfully received. Now you won’t lose tracks you love if the file exchange is interrupted. You can just SEND SONG again.

We’ve also increased the amount of information we save about each song: its Tempo, Time Signature, Key Signature, Track and Pan settings are now saved along with the audio and MIDI filenames.

For those of you who use MIDI, individual MIDI tracks are now saved as Format 0 MIDI files along with a combined Format 1 MIDI file of all the tracks

We also made two improvements when Players leave a session:

We automatically transfer the tracks from a player who leaves a Session to the Leader if the tracks have data. 

And we allow any Player to save the Session if it’s unexpectedly terminated.

We hope these improvements make eJamming AUDiiO even easier to use and make it a better experience for you.
