How do I set ASIO4ALL to work with eJamming AUDiiO?

Answer:

ASIO4ALL is a Universal ASIO driver for WDM Audio; it is freeware and we are not responsible for coding it or how it may or not work on your computer. We offer this link as a service to eJamming AUDiiO users whose sound cards and audio interfaces do not currently support ASIO at a 48kHz sample rate.  Click here to download ASIO4ALL

Here's how to set ASIO4ALL to work with eJamming AUDiiO:

Close eJamming AUDiiO. Open the ASIO4ALL Offline Control Panel from the Start Menu / All Programs / ASIO4ALL.

First of all, select the audio interface or sound card you want to configure from the list on the left of the Control Panel,

Then Click the Advanced button so you can set the parameters.

For eJamming, set the parameters with these settings:

  • ASIO Buffer Size - 512 samples
  • Latency Compensation In/Out - 32 samples (default)
  • Hardware Buffer – Off (default)
  • Kernel Buffer/Buffer - 2 (default)
  • Put a check in the check box for Always Resample 44.1 to 48kHz
  • Do not put a check in the check box for Force WDM driver to 16bit
  • Close the ASIO4ALL Offline Control Panel.

The above settings worked for the few soundcards we tested. There is STILL a chance they will not work for your specific soundcard (such as some SigmaTel soundcards).  If these settings still don't work with eJamming AUDiiO, then you will need to buy an ASIO compliant audio interface (make sure its drivers support ASIO at a 16bit-44.1khz sample rate, not just 48khz)

AFTER YOU HAVE INSTALLED AND PLUGGED THE CORRECT SETTINGS INTO ASIO4ALL PLEASE RESTART YOUR COMPUTER, IF YOU DON’T RESTART, IT PROBABLY WONT WORK SO BE KIND, RESTART.

HAVE WE MENTIONED THAT YOU SHOULD PROBABLY RESTART?

IMPORTANT: SINCE THE CHANGEOVER TO 48KHZ WITH BETA6, PLEASE LET US KNOW IF THESE SETTINGS NO LONGER WORK FOR YOUR AUDIO INTERFACE OR SOUNDCARD
