How do you select your MIDI patch/instrument in eJamming AUDiiO?

Answer:

There are three different ways to do this.

1. When you create a new session:

a. Click New Session (located on the bottom right of the Lobby Window)
b. Select Track Type = MIDI
c. Select your instrument/patch by using the hierarchical lists
d. Click Create and Join Session


2. When adding a track:

a. Open the Player’s Seat drop-down menu by clicking the downward triangle on the right side of the track
b. Click Add Track
c. Select Track TypeMIDI
d. Select your instrument/patch by using the hierarchical lists
e. Click Add Track


3. Once in a session, you can change your patch via the track settings:

a. Go to any of your MIDI track's pull down menu (by clicking the downward triangle on the right side of the track
b. Select Track Settings
c. Select Track Type = MIDI
d. Select your instrument/patch by using the hierarchical lists
e. Click Save Changes

NOTE: eJamming AUDiiO uses the General MIDI specification so that everyone in a Session hears the same instruments when connected over eJamming.  If you are not using  eJamming's internal Sonic Implants soundset, be sure your MIDI sound generator is set to a General MIDI soundbank
