What kind of audio files can I open in eJamming AUDiiO?
Answer:
Right now, eJamming AUDiiO only supports 48khz, 16 bit files. So if you want to import backing tracks of your own into eJamming to play to, you will need to make sure they are in that format. You can tell by right clicking in Windows and going to Properties> Summary, or on a Mac using iTunes. Here's how:
LOAD the file into iTunes;
HIGHLIGHT the file;
CONTROL Click and
It will show you the sample rate and bit depth
There is a freeware Windows sample rate converter called r8brain that can be used to convert other files to the 48khz 16 bit format.

In the Mac world there is a program called Switch that will convert sample rates but not bit depth, while the audio should still play fine at 16 or 24 bit, the performance may be a bit slower.
